Shakka – Just Want To See You

Just heard this dude for the first time and I have this song on repeat. He has such a unique vocal style, it is so captivating.

According to Wikipedia,

Shakka is a singer-songwriter and producer from Notting Hill, whose music has been influenced by Indie, Dub Reggae, Hip-Hop, Motown and Garage. His musical inspirations include Bob Marley, Coldplay, The Police and Andre 3000.

He is an unsigned artist but has received extensive recognition earning himself a place in the MTV’s top 20 Unsigned Artists of 2013 list and receiving 2 MOBO Award nominations; including Best Newcomer. BBC’s Radio 1Xtra has supported Shakka throughout his rise to fame, most recently being invited to perform live for CJ’s Soundcheck.
