JPatt and B-Rock (The Knocks) dropped their latest track, a few days ago and in those days ‘Dancing With Myself’ has gained close to 80,000 plays on Soundcloud and I think that’s a perfect indication of how great this song is.
The Knocks are the LES’ finest dance music export, having built an impressive resume of legendary remixes and original material that references the golden years of vocal house and credible pop music. JPatt’s background in soul and funk and B-Roc’s years spent immersed in trip-hop and hip-hop beats has allowed them to quickly ascend the production ranks. Initially gaining recognition for their remixes for artists including Haim, Santigold, Foster The People, Two Door Cinema, Ellie Goulding, Passion Pit and The 1975, they eventually found themselves experimenting with sounds of their own.
‘Dancing With Myself’ has such a chill vibe and the song ends with the sexiest sax I’ve heard in a long time.

Their debut EP on Big Beat / Neon Gold is slated for a spring 2015 release, preceded by recent single “Classic” featuring quickly rising west coast duo Powers.
