If you are an avid reader of this blog, you would know that I’m a HUGE Kehlani fan because everything she puts out is FIRE! and ‘Preach’ is no exception. On this latest track, Kehlani gets some help from 18-year-old New Orleans R&B artist, Ambré to deliver their version of Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s ‘Preach’ off of Drake’s ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ mixtape.
This is the first time I’m hearing Ambré’s music but I can say now that I’m definitely a fan. On ‘Preach’, you get a taste of Ambré’s style, then you hear the familiar sound of Kehlani and then they combine voices and what comes out is something absolutely amazing. Big up the producer Erick Bardales, what he did on this track is outstanding. I’ve already downloaded this and I encourage you to do the same, you HAVE to put this on your playlist.
