Azekel – ‘Mad About The Boy’

Azekel’s ‘Mad About The Boy’ is a great way to get the weekend started!

This melodic R&B tune with synthy rhythms and a warbling bassline is intoxicating.

In an interview with Complex, the London-er explains that the song was inspired by a situation he was in with a girl. “It’s my reflection on the rituals of trying to get someone to reveal their true feelings for you.”

‘Mad About The Boy’ is the first single to be taken from his ‘Raw, Vol. 1’ EP which is due for release on July 12th via Thunderlighting Recordings. I think this song is a good sign for the EP that is to come.
