Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ came out in 2007 but Blu J has put some serious life into it and is making me excited for the weekend that is to come.
Blu J adds Zhu-like deep house tones, Odesza-style melodic alterations and a funky throwback electronic lead that will have you dancing in your seat. This remix comes a few weeks after Blu J released a remix of Weeknd’s ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’ which amassed over 450,000 plays on Soundcloud before it was taken down. ‘Umbrla’ is available for free download so take advantage of it before this one is taken down as well.
