The very mysterious dvsn dropped this R&B banger a few days ago and I can’t stop playing it.
‘Too Deep’ drips of sex and it has that 90s R&B sound with a modern feel. .
As the song starts, that familiar beat, the one you’ve heard on your favourite 90s R&B track, lures you in, then dvsn starts to sing, and he hooks you. He sings, “I think we’re, in, too, deep…don’t wanna, pull out” then he rises up to a falsetto that leaves you wanting more.
dvsn does not do this by himself though, there is an unknown female whose voice blends perfectly with his.
I described dvsn as mysterious because not much is known about him. All that’s known is that he is a side project of producer Nineteen85, the guy responsible for ‘Hotline Bling’ and ‘Hold On We’re Going Home’. Judging from this song, he will be one to watch in 2016.
