As I said in my first post, I love all genres of music and in this post I’ll focus on Trance.
As a teenager techno was the big thing at one point for me but a few years ago I fell in love with trance music after hearing 4 String’s – Take Me Away
After that, I discovered the other big DJ’s including Armin Van Buuren (who is my number one favourite DJ), Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz and the list goes on and on.
Tonight, while on Twitter I saw a post by DJ Mantra who listed his Top 10 Trance Tracks and I checked it out because I have not listened to Trance in a while and I wanted to see what was out there. Clicked on the link provided and landed on his website and I listened to all the tracks which were:

7. Manuel Rocca – Anhelo (Original Mix)
8. Omnia, Ana Criado – No One Home (Original Mix)
9. Sean Tyas, Lo-Fi Sugar – The World (Original Mix)
10. PROYAL – Night Vision (Original Mix)
Number two is my absolute favourite while three and four tie for my second favourite. I love the female vocals in the second track, while listening to the third one, I pictured myself in a club, hearing it and dancing in the fog wih my glowsticks, it is like a classic kind of Trance song and on the fourth track I also loved the vocals, paired nicely with the music. In my opinion, the others are a bit boring, takes too long to get to the climax of the song in most.
I appreciate DJ Mantra for putting up a list like this and I anticipate more lists from him to ensure that I’m kept up to date with the latest in trance music.
